Challenge
641 Community needed a coffee table book that captured all six of its verticals and did justice to a huge visual archive, over 100 images plus extensive graphics. The catch: it all had to live within just 8 pages. The task was to make something expressive and innovative that still let a dense volume of content breathe.
Approach
We designed an inventive coffee table book that turns a tight 8-page constraint into its strength. We visualised each of the six verticals distinctly, then layered over 100 images and rich graphics into layouts engineered to reward exploration, every page exploding with detail that keeps the reader searching and flipping. The result is dense yet playful: a utilitarian brief turned into a book that's a genuine pleasure to browse.
